Location-Based Reminders Working In iOS 5 Beta 4?

Reminders is one of the new apps that will come pre-installed with iOS 5 and showcased at the WWDC 2011 Keynote.

The Reminders app allows you to store list of things to do. You can store date associated with these reminders, so you’re reminded about the to-do list on that date.
You can also assign a location to the reminder, which is probably one of the cool features of the app. So you can say if you want to be reminded about the to-do list when you arrive or leave a location.

However, it looks like the location-based reminders didn’t work with the first three beta versions of iOS 5. Folks at TiPB report that the location-based reminders are now working in iOS 5 beta 4 that was seeded to developers couple of days back.

If location-based Reminders weren’t working for you in previous iOS 5 betas, give iOS 5 beta 4 a whirl and see if you get alerted when — er, where — you leave or enter an important-to-remember place.
